The Human Rights Archives Directory is an ICA project to build an on-line directory of (1) archives that identify themselves as human rights archives and (2) archives that are part of a human rights organization and are open to the public.

Project Progress
To date, we have created over 20 entries for archives suitable for inclusion in the directory. Each of these entries has been sent to the relevant contact at the archives. All of the entries can be found on this site on both the Country/Region page and the Institutions by Name pages.
To search for an entry, use the search box provided in the upper right-hand corner. Please note that this will also search all available text on this site.
Nomination Forms
The directory team has also discussed the possibility of using a nomination form to gather suggestions for archives to include in the directory. The form would be publicly available and online. An example form was created and is available at the link below. As we are not yet accepting nominations, please do not distribute this link.
